About the Campaign

Join us on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Active On-Demand at Historic Willow Run Airport for a Plane Pull to benefit Special Olympics Michigan. This event is the ultimate test of strength! It will challenge teams of up to 15 to see how fast they can pull a plane. This event is hosted by Active On-Demand.

Want to Participate?
Form a team of up to 15 and have all participants register online. Teams are required to raise a minimum of $450 to participate. Each participant can set up a fundraising page to help collect donations.

Plane Pull Information
Each team will receive one official pull for time. Awards to the top three teams in each category: Men's, Co-Ed (Co-Ed teams must have at least 7 women), and the Women's Division (all members must be female). Additional prizes will be given to the top fundraisers and best costumes. This is a family-friendly event so bring everyone out to the runway to cheer you on. Enjoy food, fun, and kids (ages 6-14) will even have a chance to participate in their own Plane Pull!

Registration and Check-In Information
Registration will start at 10:00 am and the event will take place at 10:30.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run® is the single largest grassroots fundraising effort for Special Olympics International. Michigan's Law Enforcement Torch Run program raises funds for over 23,000 athletes who participate in Special Olympics Michigan. The two main goals of the Law Enforcement Torch Run® are to raise funds and to create awareness for the athletes who participate in Special Olympics Michigan.

As Michigan's Special Olympics program continues to grow, more funding is needed to support the athletes and their families since there is no cost to participate. This is where the support of the law enforcement community becomes crucial. By getting more involved in Michigan's Torch Run program you can help raise funds and create awareness for our athletes.
