About the Campaign
Giving Tuesday NOW is a new global day of giving that is in response to COVID-19 in an effort to help non-profits affected by the pandemic. Rainbow Trail's summer programs have been drastically affected as we move to the beginning of summer.
However, rather than cancelling and not even attempting programming, Rainbow Trail is creating "RTLC at Home," an online camp presence for our campers to experience Worship, Bible study, and our summer staff until campers can be at our site with our summer staff. "RTLC at Home" will have both an on-site and a Day Camp element. There will be no charge for either of these programs.
We have a stellar technical team made up of RTLC staff alumni that are crafting the platform on which these porgrams will run. The real expenses associated with the development of "RTLC at Home" include platform design and creation, app developement, video shooting and editing, and purchasing items to go in the camper swag box that each currently registered camper will receive from camp in the event that their week is cancelled.
