How To Help

Paid Internships $5,000

Provides two paid internship opportunities for youth ages 14-19. Our youth interns develop valuable workforce skills while earning a paycheck to support themselves and their families.

Educational Scholarship $2,500

Financial resources are often the largest barrier to youth accessing higher education. Our scholarships are offered to foster and/or justice involved youth who are working toward higher education through college, trade school or skill development programs.

Rental Support $1,000

Many transitional age youth were the first to be laid off at the onset of the pandemic. Many of their jobs will not return. During this time we are supporting TAY youth and families who are facing housing insecurity due to direct impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The digital divide is most prevalent in the communities we serve. Providing youth and young adults with their own personal computer ensures that they have access to employment, education and other resources that ensure long-term success.

Grocery Voucher $250

Food insecurity has affected many youth and young adults during this time. A grocery voucher provides access to a local grocery store where youth can purchase meat, produce and healthier food options.

Hygiene Products $100

During this time access to hygiene products directly impacts health and safety. CYN provides cleaning supplies, hygiene products and PPE to ensure that our community can protect themselves.

About the Campaign

We're addressing disparities that prevent long term success for youth in San Francsico. Our mission is to provide programs and services that promote stability, personal growth and long term success for youth in the San Francisco Foster and Juvenile Justice Systems as well as youth in the community who need preventative services.

With many youth and families facing challenges due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the need for our services is increasing.

Your support will help us continue to provide work opportunties, critical need support and educational support to youth and families in our community.
