City Youth Now 2023 Rise Awards

A Celebration of Community Transformation, One Youth at a Time

How To Help

Transportation Voucher $30

Access to reliable transportation is often a barrier. City Youth Now offers transportation vouchers for youth in need of support to travel to educational, extra curricular and employment related appointments.

Personal Care Support $60

Help us keep our free store stocked with most needed items--shampoo, toothpaste, detergent, cleaning supplies and women's personal hygiene items.

Donate

Clothing Voucher $100

Provide a clothing voucher for a child or youth adult currently experiencing the juvenile court system. During transitions youth are often left without the things they need the most like undergarments, socks, pajamas and cold weather accessories.

Transition Support $250

Transitional age youth entering into the community after time in foster care can count on us to support through the process. We provide small grants that assist youth with purchasing groceries, paying utility deposits or purchasing furniture items as they transition without much support.

Donate

Academic Scholarship $1,000

Annually, City Youth Now provides academic scholarships to youth demonstrating a need for financial support to attend college, vocational education, trade school or apprenticeship opportunities. These scholarships are funded through the general support of individuals like you!

Donate

Youth Paid Internship Program $5,000

Sponsor 1 youth's salary for our Youth Partnering for Education and Employment Program. Youth are placed at a worksite in their community while participating in 1:1 support with the City Youth Now staff for workforce development.

About the Campaign

The City Youth Now annual Rise Awards ceremony is an opportunity for you to show support for the youth and young adults in the local community.

Our mission is to provide programs and services that promote stability, personal growth and long term success for youth. We primarily partner with youth and young adults who are currently experiencing the San Francisco foster and/ or juvenile justice systems.

We are excited to honor our 2023 scholarship recipients, our community service award recipient and everyone who has come together to meet the needs of our community.
