About LPF Baltimore


Leveling the Playing Field redistributes free sports equipment to kids from under-resourced communities across the country, ensuring they can access the mental and physical benefits of youth sports.


In January 2018, LPF expanded to a second warehouse in Hampden to better serve the Baltimore area. LPF Baltimore hit the ground running and quickly mobilized local schools, sports leagues, businesses, and families to donate their unused sporting equipment to help local kids in need. By the end of its second year, LPF Baltimore had collected over $1M worth of sporting equipment, engaged 500+ volunteers, and distributed over $1M worth of sporting equipment to 188 unique programs in need. 


Now, LPF Baltimore distributes over $1M of gear to 300+ schools and programs annually. To continue supporting our local schools, rec leagues, and other youth programs, we need your support.
