What is the Slumber Party?
Furniture Friends is hosting its 6th Annual Slumber Party (Friday, March 14th, 2025) where we pledge to sleep on the floor for just one night, so others don't have to.
We invite you - along with your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues - to join us in taking the pledge and raising money to provide essential furniture (like beds!) to community members in need. Or simply to make a donation to us directly or by supporting an individual or team fundraiser.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 to support our work of creating homes and rebuilding lives.
How can I get involved?
- Become a fundraiser! Just click the button above to start an Individual Fundraising page or create a Team Fundraiser and invite your family and friends to join you.
- Host a slumber party at home! Plan fun activities to engage your friends and family. (Need ideas? See our activity suggestions below).
- Join us for our in person celebration on Friday, March 14th, 2025 (details below) and then head home to sleep on the floor, either alone or with a group of friends.
- Make a donation using the "Donate Now" button at the top of the page or scroll below to search for a specific individual or team fundraiser.

Who We Are
Furniture Friends is a nonprofit based in Westbrook, ME that reduces homelessness and improves housing stability by collecting donated furniture and redistributing it to low-income individuals and families across Southern, ME.
Since our founding in 2012, we have provided over 13,000 individuals (5,000+ children) with essential home furnishings and kept over 1,000 tons of furniture waste out of landfills in the last 5 years alone.
Because of your fundraising and financial support, hundreds of families in Southern Maine are "Creating Homes. Rebuilding Lives."
