The South Bay Family YMCA has been dedicated to serving ALL in Chula Vista, Bonita, Eastlake and National City since 1960. Dedicated to empowering people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, the Y believes a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. When you invest in the Y, your dollars directly benefit kids and families in underserved communities.
Start Fundraising
Prevent Youth Drowning! $150
Drowning remains a leading cause of death for children under the age of 5 throughout the United States. But drowning can be prevented through awareness and skills building. Help a child become water safe today. A donation of $150 will provide swimming lessons for one child for one month.
Cultivate Equity, Opportunity & Youth Development $300
Summer Camp and before/after school childcare are critical opportunities for childhood development AND support families in taking care of their children. The South Bay YMCA provides much-needed programming for school-age children throughout the Chula Vista Elementary School District and beyond. A gift of $300 will support one camper to have the Summer of their lives OR a month of childcare for a family needing support.
