Help Us Extend a Warm Welcome to Refugees in Vermont

Help us provide critical support for Afghan allies and other refugees as they arrive in Vermont over the coming months. With your contribution, these refugees can begin to resettle and rebuild their lives in our communities and neighborhoods throughout the state. 

USCRI Vermont's expert staff and volunteers are working hard to prepare for the Afghan families who have made it to the U.S. But we know this is just the beginning of the support they need. There was already a global refugee crisis before the fall of Kabul, and as a consequence of the current crisis, we are rapidly rebuilding our service capacity to serve Afghan families arriving in Vermont. We’re expecting to see increased demand, particularly for housing, urgent mental health care, and employment services, as refugees struggle with the challenges brought on by this crisis.
