Polar Plunge
Here's what to expect:
LAW ENFORCEMENT TEAMS / PLUNGERS
9am - Plunge Check-In Opens in the Parking Lot Tent
(LAW ENFORCEMENT TEAMS ONLY)
10am - Plunge into Walled Lake (LAW ENFORCEMENT TEAMS ONLY)
All spectators should remain on shore and on the restaurant patio.
ALL OTHER TEAMS / PLUNGERS
12:30pm - Plunge Check-In Opens & Pre-Plunge Party (ALL OTHER PLUNGERS)
Turn in cash & check donations, get your incentives, prepare to plunge!
2pm - Plunge into Walled Lake (ALL OTHER PLUNGERS)
All spectators should remain on shore and on the restaurant patio.
After - After-Splash Bash
Lunch is included for all plungers who raise $100+.
Drinks (& Lunch for spectators) available for purchase on-site.
The Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Michigan event series is presented by:
PLUNGE / ICE PLAN!!!
UPDATE due to the unsafe ice levels and uneven shore conditions of Walled Lake:
Plungers will jump into a pool of frigid cold water in the parking lot of the Beach Tiki Bar.
Heated changing tent is just steps away from the Plunge Pool.
All safety plans are the final call of the Oakland Co. Dive Team.
