About the Campaign
Winter Walk: A Mile in Her Shoes highlights the harsh reality of women’s homelessness during the deadly cold of Chicago’s winters. Your support can make the difference between a woman struggling to survive alone on the street and a woman who is safe and warm in her own bed.
Your support of Winter Walk: A Mile in Her Shoes will have a significant impact on women who are homeless and struggling to survive in Chicago this winter.
March 9th, 2025 from 1-3pm
Uplift Community High School
900 W. Wilson Ave
There will be a program with speakers at 1pm, with a one mile walk through Uptown while hearing a Sarah's Circle clients life story to follow.
Start Fundraising
$25 can buy laundry detergent for use by all of our clients. Our Daytime Support Center, Interim Housing Shelter and our Permanent Supportive Housing units all have laundry facilities. We go through a lot of Tide at Sarah’s Circle.
The clients in our interim shelter are offered 3 meals a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year - $50 can help feed them all a nutritious meal.
