In honor of Martin, a place to sit.

Martin Goldstein, an impassioned advocate for Fort Greene and a former member of the Fort Greene Park Conservancy Board, died peacefully February 9, 2024.


Martin loved ballet, classical music, food, Brooklyn, and -- above all -- spending time with family and friends.


To honor Martin and his incalculable contributions to this community, we would like to dedicate a bench to his memory in Fort Greene Park. A spot for fellowhip -- or quiet contemplation -- in the park Martin loved so much.
