CalSAC's Power of a Story Campaign 2024

Through stories, we uncover our dreams, and through Out-of-School Time (OST) programs (Like before school, afterschool, and summer learning), we learn how to pursue them. OST programs provide not only safety and emotional support but also a profound sense of belonging, ensuring that every child feels seen, every family feels understood, and every practitioner feels connected to the stories shaping their community. 

In our programs, children and young people discover their dreams and are encouraged to pursue them with the backing of supportive leaders. Families gain more than just peace of mind; with the help of OST leaders, they find a shared path toward a brighter future for their children. Through this journey, stories are told, futures are shaped, and communities thrive. 

CalSAC is dedicated to making this supportive system a reality for the youth and families in California. We provide leaders in the out-of-school time (OST) field with the resources, training, and development they need to effectively inspire, guide, and mentor young people. We are also committed to advocating for funding, best practices, and strategic direction to ensure the longevity and success of the field.
