You can bring someone off the street TONIGHT! $20 covers the cost of a night of shelter for one person, giving them a safe place to sleep, meals, basic needs, and staff support from a case manager or peer support specialist.

Bring a family of four into the safety of our shelter. $50 covers the cost of a night of shelter for the average family, giving them a safe, comfortable place to sleep, meals and snacks, basic needs, staff support to help them regroup.

Help a Homeless Adult Reenter The Workforce $100

Support a client working on getting a job! Costs involved with reentering the workforce can include reissuing identifying documents such as a birth certificate, social security card, or an SC ID / Driver's License, daycare expenses for families, and staff support from case management to help navigate every step of the process.

About the Campaign

New Directions' Compassion Through Fashion is a one-of-a-kind fashion show and fundraiser featuring entries made of unusual materials.

Designed by local individuals, community groups, and businesses, fashion show entries are made of repurposed or recyclable materials and are modeled on a real runway. In addition to competing for nine judged awards, designers and models can win two other community awards - People's Choice and Most Funds Raised.

This page features our designers and models who have chosen to go above and beyond in making a difference through design by fundraising for New Directions. Their fundraising will provide shelter, meals, and basic needs to those in crisis, helping people recover from homelessness, poverty, or addiction. The CTF participant with highest fundraising by February 3, 2024 will win Most Funds Raised.
