Eli was a kind, affectionate, wild, smart as a whip, little boy. He loved singing, playing soccer, swimming in his pool, and being absolutely hilarious. Eli was a friend to everyone he met, he had a smile that lit up a room and was somehow delightfully mischievous at the same time. He loved superheroes, all things Disney and celebrating every holiday with enthusiasm. Eli was sweet, loving and adorably honest. He loved his friends and family fiercely, especially his mom, dad and his two sisters, June and Lucy.
On August 5, 2021, a month to the day after his baby sister Lucy was born, Eli was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) and we were given the worst news any parent could ever receive. Our world was turned upside down and for the next year we focused every effort on our family and making memories together. Just after his 7th birthday, and a year after his diagnosis, Eli was taken from us by DIPG.
After brainstorming ideas to honor his memory, we decided one way to keep his fun-loving spirit alive is to help other families battling pediatric cancer!
Join us by donating and/or fundraising to bring joy to kids battling cancer like Eli, the happiest, bravest boy!
Eli loved helping others and we are passionate about honoring his memory and helping families just like ours! The M Family Foundation has a tailored approach to identify the greatest of the families they support! When you donate to "Eli the Brave", you are directly supporting families and their most important needs.
Eli loved playing games! Our family spent a lot of time in the hospital during Eli's treatment and we were always thankful for games and activities that were provided. Sadly, because of the amount of children receiving treatment, usage was high and there were many pieces missing or very worn out. When you donate to "Eli the Brave", you are giving children engaging games and activities to enjoy during their stay in the hospital.
