About the Campaign

On April 15th, 2023, the militarist regime in Sudan collapsed, and an internal power struggle between Islamists plunged the country into war and chaos.

Sudan is now recognized as the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

War-induced famine claims more than 100 lives per day.

Sudan has been broken into three pieces. The media focus is on the two largest areas -- areas controlled by Islamist forces.

But a third region has emerged as Sudan's only safe haven and glimmer of hope: the Nuba mountains in Southern Kordofan State.

Ethnic Nubans comprise Sudan's largest community of Christians, with more than half of Sudan's six million Nuba identifying as Christian.

As a result, the Nuba have been the number one target of religious and ethnic cleansing by Islamist militants in Sudan.

The current war has led more than one million Nubans in Sudan to flee back home to their mountain homeland.

A refugee "home"

The indigenous Church in the Nuba mountians has been leading the way in responding to this crisis, helping new arrivals of 'returnees' survive, settle, and rebuild their lives.

The Nuba Church is responding!

Persecution Project is working alongside Nuba Christians in organizing an Emergency Christmas Airlift to deliver access to SAFE WATER, RELIEF & SHELTER items, lifesaving MEDICINES and MEDICAL SERVICES as well as strengthening the local church's capacity to provide SPIRITUAL nourishment and encouragement.

A Persecution Project Relief Flight

For $75, we can deliver enough crisis relief to bless one displaced Christian family trying to rebuild in the Nuba mountains. Our goal is to serve 3,000 additional families by Christmas.

This season, please remember the Persecuted Church in Sudan in your giving. They're not asking for anything for themselves. They simply want to save others.
