About the Campaign
Lying at the base of central Vermont’s Mt. Moosalamoo, Lake Dunmore is the gateway to Green Mountain National Forest. Lake Dunmore offers a sandy shore, clear water, and glorious mountain views. The 985-acre lake is over three miles long and spans up to one mile wide and is a natural treasure in the beautiful state of Vermont. The lake is full of fish, and loons, bald eagles and other water birds abound.
This June, Flatwater Foundation will take a group of paddlers to take on 32 miles of Lake Dunmore. We will arrive on Friday, June 3rd, camp on private lakeshore land, paddle all day on Saturday, June 4th, celebrate the miles paddled and the lives changed that night and head home on Sunday, June 5th. The fundraising ask per paddler is $6,000. Please consider making a contribution to one of our paddlers listed below.
Flatwater looks forward to experiencing the natural wonders of Lake Dunmore while doing a bit of good in the process.
