Fresh Truck: Bringing Fresh Food to Every Holiday Table has raised $191,529 out of their goal of $250,000
Boston Runs on Fresh Truck
Fresh Truck has always been here for Boston, and this year, as we’ve transitioned to an independent organization, we’ve faced unprecedented challenges. Demand for fresh food is higher than ever, with 15,000 households counting on us. Yet, cuts to critical programs like the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) and tightening philanthropy have left a gap that only our community can help us fill.
This is a critical moment for Fresh Truck. By December 20th we need to raise $250,000 to keep our markets open and ensure that Boston families facing food insecurity have fresh, affordable food in 2025
About Fresh Truck
Fresh Truck is a nonprofit running mobile produce markets out of converted school buses across Boston neighborhoods where access to fresh food is limited. We bring high-quality fruits and vegetables directly to communities, providing shoppers with choice, affordability, and a consistent source of fresh food. Through partnerships with local organizations and community advocates, Fresh Truck’s markets support Boston's diverse population, including low-income, aging, and BIPOC communities. By offering a reliable, accessible shopping experience, we’re building resilience in Boston’s food system and creating opportunities for neighborhoods to thrive.
