Thank you for your support in sustaining our transition to a “new normal” in 2022, a year in which we plan to provide even more recovery-focused programming to meet ever-increasing demand.

While our pivot to online platforms may have been impressive, it is time for us to consider a return to some in-person meetings and events. Over the past year, we provided 13,721 hours of support, education, and advocacy to 41,182 participants. We held 897 support groups, 87 education presentations and classes, 16 awareness events, and answered 18,809 calls and messages on the NAMI HelpLine and WarmLine. With a 20% increase in program participation, our growth is outpacing our resources.

Our existing programs, as well as our new support groups, school-based support initiatives, and our Emotional Support WarmLine bridge the ever-growing gap between the onset of mental health challenges and the availability of an appointment with a provider. The support we provide is life-changing and the accessibility of it is critical.

With your support, we will be able to sustain our overall growth by enhancing our team and expanding our office to accommodate a highly anticipated return to in-person programs. In the coming year, we will offer support and education both online and in-person to meet the diverse needs of our mental health community. Cost, availability, and accessibility will never be barriers to the free support we provide. We continue to be here for you, year after year, no matter what.
