Giving Tuesday 2019 has raised $18,465 out of their goal of $10,000
How To Help
A donation of $1,000 can support cutting-edge research initiatives to foster earlier diagnosis and the development of treatments.
A donation of $500 can fund a Comstock Respite, Quality of Life, or Travel grant for families affected.
Be a Spark of Hope for All Who Face FTD.
AFTD was founded in 2002 by a single volunteer, Helen-Ann Comstock. After losing her husband Craig to FTD at 44, she resolved to make things easier for the next family and launched AFTD through a single donation.
Today, thousands of volunteers, donors and fundraisers, including Jeff Hunter (pictured above) now join her in advancing AFTD’s work. After losing his father Robert to FTD in 2017, Jeff responded in 2019 by climbing Mount Denali, to raise awareness and raise crucial funds in support of AFTD’s mission.
How will you spark hope for this community? Bring hope to families facing FTD by making a donation to AFTD on #GivingTuesday.
