HEAL Week 2024
Locking Arms & Leaning In
HEAL Week is a community call to action to lock arms and lean into the important conversation around eating disorders and the many barriers experienced by individuals to accessing essential, life-saving care. This week, we also recognize that large, systemic change requires collective action by individuals, community organizations, decision makers, and policy changers, to move the dial toward a world where everyone has what they need to HEAL.
EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS... 3X!

$3,000 is the average cost of a full treatment cycle for one person through Project HEAL.
Many folks struggle affording treatment, in part, because of their insurance deductible. Often, a deductible can be as high as $1,000. By raising $1,000, you are helping someone through one of the many hurdles of accessing treatment.
When a person needs support healing outside of formal treatment, Project HEAL's Community Care program from Body Reborn provides a virtual, intersectional community for those who struggle with disordered eating and have faced systemic barriers due to race. Cover a full 8 week program for one person.
For those seeking treatment the cost of traveling to and from the treatment center, or paying for lodging while accessing treatment away from home, acts as a barrier to seeking care. Project HEAL's Cash Assistance program directly funds travel and lodging, along with other expenses, for those impacted by this hurdle.
