2020 has shown all of us how vulnerable women -- especially women of color -- can be in times of great crisis.

During this global health pandemic, women have been disproportionately burdened by Covid-19, especially Black and Hispanic women working in hardest-hit sectors like leisure and hospitality, health care and education.

We've also seen an alarming and global rise in violence, particularly domestic violence, which has only intensified since the outbreak.

It's why this year for our second annual Hope for the Holidays charity fundraiser WGIRLS WASHINGTON DC has chosen to support: The N Street Village. Every year, the N Street Village helps to empower nearly 2,000 homeless and low-income women in Washington, D.C. They help them to claim their highest quality of life by providing a range of services, housing and advocacy in a respectful and safe environment.

With your support this year, these women will be able to achieve stability and make meaningful gains in their ability to gain housing and employment, and take care of their physical and mental health.

We know that your generous contribution to the N Street Village would mean a great deal to their efforts, and to these women during such an incredibly challenging year for so many.

Thank you from all of us at WGIRLS WASHINGTON DC.
