It seems like COVID precautions have finally gone away. What a long time and during that time, many of us lost family and friends and sadly, many could not attend memorial services and acknowledge the loss of someone special.

This year's BUNCO will be a night to honor Mackenzie Knights, Betsy's daughter, who died way too young. Prior to COVID, I became friends with Mackenzie through Treviso's fitness classes. She ended up teaching yoga at my home to myself and others and at times she just hung out at my home. When she was not in Treviso we would text and connect. Like so many who struggled with food issues, Mackenzie battled the disease and she was doing very well and had dreams and goals but sadly, complications from the illness were too much for her body. She will be missed by all.

We will also toast to all who have lost someone during that time period.

But make no mistake - this is a celebration of LIFE and a celebration of getting together once again. I am looking forward to opening up our home once again to larger gatherings.
