Since 1916, Grand St. Settlement has empowered New Yorkers through essential programs for children and families. 

This year, we provided early childhood education for 841 children, engaged 6,300 youth in STEAM activities, and served 40,000 meals to older adults experiencing hunger and isolation.

Now, we’re expanding our impact with new Head Start programs for 583 more children, bringing our total to over 1,400 preschoolers. Six new centers will open in the Bronx, along with one in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park, and 17 partnerships supporting local family child care providers.
