Help us end the year strong! 

We are so grateful for all our community has helped us create in 2022. This year, we:

• Moved into a new home and welcomed survivors and community back for trainings and events, like a Gunshot First Response Training with UMedics, community fairs, monthly reentry dinners and community meetings.
• Shared the space with our partners at Organized Communities Against Deportations and Good Kids Mad City, and hosted the family of Madeline Miller as they mourned her loss.
• Celebrated 5 years of the Chicago Torture Justice Center and 7 years of the Reparations Ordinance!
• Celebrated 1 year of our Peer Reentry Program!
• Tripled our Organizing and Peer Reentry Teams.

We have so much we're looking forward to building in 2023—like: 

• Getting a washer and dryer for a community laundry room
• Fully furnishing a community computer lab
• Getting a massage table to offer somatic healing modalities like acupuncture and massage
• Re-launching an inside-outside book club
• Launching 2 new organizing campaigns for structural change
• Expanding healing arts programming
• Building a raised-bed healing garden
• … and MORE that can come from our collective radical imaginations
