Can provide food and bedding for the more than 1,000 ferrets, fowl, bunnies, guinea pigs and other small mammals and reptiles at the shelter while they wait for a home or rescue.

Helps cover the cost of supplies for bottles, formula, dewormer and a heat source for two days for an orphaned litter of kittens, so that they can find rescue

Can provide a pet with a basic exam, vaccines, a microchip and flea/tick preventative - important in the shelter to keep dogs comfortable and to prevent the spread of disease.

Miracle was a kitten without a future. He was literally thrown away, treated like trash - that is until he came to us at ACCT Philly. Only 2 months old, he'd suffered enough for a lifetime, one of his little legs shattered beyond repair. We gave him the care he needed, easing his pain, amputating his injured leg and finding him the perfect home where he is now loved and treated like the treasure he is.





ACCT Philly is the only open intake shelter and animal care and control provider in Philadelphia. Miracle is just one of the more than 16,000 dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles and barnyard critters that we serve annually.  We need your to help to provide these animals with the care, adoption and placement services they deserve.
