At long last, we are returning to IN-PERSON PROGRAMS and it’s the 20th ANNIVERSARY of our Saturday Program!

We are so proud of everything our young people have created and accomplished over the past two years. Despite the pandemic and the overwhelming challenges it created, they wrote and produced three original podcast musical dramas, one of which – WHY LOVE – won a silver medal in the Anthem Awards and was nominated for a Webby Award. And, in 2021 our young people’s music video “I Need Hope” was an official selection at fifteen festivals and won four awards.

We are now beyond excited for our young people to be able to once again work together in person and take to the stage with their call for a more just and peaceful world. Returning to the theater is the perfect way to start our 20th year of empowering NYC youth!

The Saturday Program was our first in NYC. Since 2002, more than 1,200 young people have come together each Saturday to build a community of support, share their stories through performance, and work toward a better future for all of us. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside them over the last 20 years - and with your help, we look forward to the next 20!
