National Rebuilding Month has raised $11,994 out of their goal of $15,000
A $50 gift provides a gallon of mildew/mold protective paint. Children living in poorly maintained homes are at higher risk for lead exposure, which can cause behavioral and learning problems.
A $100 gift installs grab bars to prevent slips and falls in the bathroom. Approximately 3 million older adults are hospitalized for their injuries from slips and falls each year.
A $500 gift helps provide a ramp, which allows for easier access to a home and prevents falls.
A $1,000 gift replaces old raggedy carpeting and helps cover the cost of durable, easy-to-clean flooring to remove harmful allergens and tripping hazards.
Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte is on a mission to repair homes, revitalize communities, and rebuild lives.
National Rebuilding Month is an annual month-long call to service during April. Throughout the month, Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte will serve veterans, older adults, and other neighbors in need by providing critical home repairs and accessibility modifications.
We offer these services at no cost to low-income homeowners, who could not afford these repairs otherwise. They often have to choose food or medicine over these necessary repairs.
By making a donation to RTGC during National Rebuilding Month, you're giving safe and healthy homes to your neighbors in need.
