Row for the Cure #PinktheBoathouse Challenge


Gather your friends, family, teammates for the #PinktheBoathouse Challenge in honor or memory of a friend or loved one. Have fun and Challenge yourself, your friends, your teammates, your rivals as we come together to fight cancer.


Row/Erg or Run/Walk throughout October. Form or join a team and participate safely in-person or virtually. Proceeds help fund community cancer organizations which support cancer patients and their families and rowing clubs which empower cancer survivors. Importantly we help fund cutting edge research conducted by Susan G. Komen to FIND A CURE! 


Open to everyone of all ages, whether you compete on the water, challenge yourself on the erg or love to run or walk, we invite rowers and non-rowers alike across the U.S. (and the world!) to join the Challenge.

Participating is as easy as 1, 2, 3!


1. Register for the Challenge at RegattaCentral

  • 5k - Row or Erg 
  • 10k - Run or Walk
  • Women and Men, Juniors, Open, Masters, Adaptive 


2. Form/Join a fundraising team and fundraise

  • Click on the "BECOME A FUNDRAISER" button above for easy to follow instructions on how to create your own or team Challenge fundraising page
  • Become a Team Captain! Encourage your friends, teammates and family members to join your team
  • Encourage your friends, teammates and family members to support your efforts by going to your custom fundraising page and donating


3. Complete the Challenge in person or virtually and report your results on RegattaCentral



4. Can’t participate but still want to give?

  • Click on the “DONATE NOW” button above - thank you!      
  • All proceeds from your donations will go to important community programs which support local survivors, patients and caregivers

How Your Donation Makes a Difference


Your donations will be distributed as grants to qualified programs which benefit cancer patients and survivors and toward research. 

We support:

  • Community health organizations which support local cancer patients and their families with programs such as peer-to-peer counseling, financial assistance, patient navigation and transportation

  • Rowing organizations which empower cancer survivors through rehabilitation and exercise programs while providing camaraderie, support and socialization 

  • Cutting-edge cancer research, conducted by Susan G. Komen, that will lead to new, more effective treatment, ultimately toward reducing cancer-related deaths and finding a cure
