A Stronger Foundation
In these unprecedented and uncertain times, we know that because of you, our foundation is strong. We are incredibly grateful for our donors, volunteers and staff who are committed to making sure families experiencing homelessness have a place to call home.
Though we have made some changes to our processes, our work to house families has not wavered. Families' needs are evolving, and providing additional rental assistance, mattresses, bedding, household supplies and food are essential needs to continue our work.
Families facing homelessness are especially vulnerable during this time, and, with YOUR help, we will continue to house, support, empower and advocate for them. You are key in helping us build a Stronger Foundation by making a gift for the items below:
SUPPORT A FAMILY IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS OR MAKE A DONATION OF ANY AMOUNT!
A Place to Call Home $1,000
A donation of $1,000 helps cover move-in expenses like rent and utilities OR to help a family already in housing cover these essential expenses.
Children's Activities at Home $250
A donation of $250 helps us provide at home and online resources to children learning at home during this time.
Family Meals $100
A donation of $100 or more helps us provide food for families. Consider making this a monthly recurring gift (of any amount) to help multiple families.

PROVIDE A FOOD BOX

PROVIDE A WARM BED
We are in urgent need of sheets (twin & full), comforters (twin & full), pillows and towels for families moving into their own housing. All items must be new and can be purchased and shipped to Safe Haven or dropped off by appointment only Monday through Thursday. PROVIDE A WELCOME BASKET OF CLEANING SUPPLIES
Purchase the following items packed into a laundry basket(s) and drop them off by appointment only Monday through Thursday. PROVIDE CHILDREN'S ENRICHMENT ITEMS
With summer camps being canceled and increased child care challenges, we want to provide children (and families) with board games, sports equipment and other activities they can use at home. When famillies move into their own housing, they need essential household items like dishes, cookware, and more. Purchase a Target gift card to help us purchase the items each family needs. DONATE GIFT CARDS FOR FAMILIES TO USE ON ESSENTIAL ITEMS
