About LPF Philadelphia

Leveling the Playing Field redistributes free sports equipment to kids from under-resourced communities, ensuring they can access the mental and physical benefits of youth sports.

LPF opened its inaugural warehouse in Washington DC in 2013 and successfully replicated our model in 2018 when we expanded into Baltimore. Four years later, we opened the doors on our third warehouse in Philadelphia to serve under-resourced communities in and around the City of Philadelphia. 

As a city with a deep passion for not only its local professional sports teams but also its community youth sports organizations, we saw an opportunity to make sure as many kids as possible growing up around the city would be able to get on the playing field.

Now, LPF Greater Philadelphia is well on its way to distribute $1M of gear to 250+ schools and programs annually. To continue supporting our local schools, rec leagues, and other youth programs, we need your support.
