Children's Needs & Programs $50

Violence affects people of all ages, so Safe Haven strives to meet the needs of each family served. Partnerships with area schools help ensure that the educational needs of children are not interrupted due to domestic violence. They also provide opportunities to educate youth in a classroom setting about family violence and the aspects of a healthy relationship.

Safe Haven provides legal advocacy in Shawano County. Our advocates accompany survivors to hearings, assist with legal aid information and referrals, provide and explain restraining orders/injunction processes, provide assistance in accessing law enforcement, assist in filing for Crime Victim Rights applications, and provide assistance in accessing the Victim Witness Program. Legal advocacy is not a substitute for legal representation.
