In 2020, we started the Survivor Repair Fund (formerly called the Survivor Relief Fund) as a response to the pandemic, providing direct emergency assistance to survivors and their family members during a time of uncertainty.
The hardships of the pandemic made clear that this was a needed resource for our community. We've distributing nearly $70,000 over the last 4 years. We want to make sure it remains open and accessible to survivors, and sustained longterm by the support of our community.

How To Support
Recurring donations of any amount are a way to show up for survivors and help ensure that this fund can stay open and accessible for as long as survivors need. Think of it like a monthly subscription, but for community care and reparations! It takes all of us. Make sure to select 'Monthly' if you plan on making a recurring donation!
The price of groceries have gone up recently, making it harder for folks to find affordable food. Help a survivor stay fed, nourished and healthy.
FAQs
Why is it named the Survivor Repair Fund?
Through this fund, we want to live out and embody our values. While relief often comes as a short-term response to an emergency, we see repair as a continuous act of healing and care that happens together with community. This distinction is important to us, which is why we decided to rename this project to better reflect its purpose.
What's the difference between a one-time and a recurring donation?
This is a community-funded project, and donations of any amount are appreciated. One-time donations help us build up the fund more rapidly at different times, especially when funds are running low.
Sometimes we pause the fund and put requests on a waitlist while we work to replenish it. Recurring and monthly donations ensure that there will be funds available over a longer period of time.
We appreciate all the ways that you show up for survivors!
