This Mental Illness Awareness Week, we’re asking you to do two things to benefit everyone’s mental health: Take a screen and give a screen.

No matter where you are on your mental health journey, it’s always a good time to check in on your well-being. Online screening is one of the quickest and easiest ways to do just that. Plus, it’s free and confidential. Take a screen today at MHAscreening.org.

Thanks to the support of people like you, Mental Health America’s screening is completely free. This week, we’ve set out to raise $5,000 to connect 4,000 people to our mental health screens and resources.

Donating $25 helps us connect 20 people to online screening so they can better understand their mental health and get support they need.

"I still remember the first day of the rest of my life. It was the day I took a free online screen and first learned about my bipolar disorder, the day I learned I wasn’t alone — the day I learned there was a path to getting better.”

CATHERINE R.

"It took me a little while to build up the courage to bring my Mental Health America screening results and my feelings to both my therapist and psychiatrist. But once I did, they listened and helped me explore the possibility that I had been living with ADHD for a long time. Eventually, I was given an ADHD diagnosis, secondary to my anxiety disorder.”

RACHEL M.

“Mental Health America has helped me provide resources like MHAscreening.org to people who have had limited exposure to mental health care in my family. I have my own mental health journey that’s had its own struggles with finding resources. I want to ensure I do my part around spreading awareness for these services and hopefully in the long term we will see expanding access.”
