Terrell Tebbetts 

Be a part of honoring Lyon College's longest serving faculty member, and the only faculty advisor for the Kappa Sigma fraternity since its founding: Dr. Terrell Tebbetts! The campaign to raise $150,000 to fund the Terrell Tebbetts Reading Room and Special Collection is underway! The Room will be located on the main level of the library, Southeast corner (facing Edward Commons). 

Imagine a space that speaks to scholarship and literature, rich wood, heavy furniture, soft lighting; a room meant to encourage dwelling and pondering with the occasional vigorous dialogue and debate. Lined with paintings and bookshelves, complete with some of the great books, this will be a room that speaks to the careful study of literature that is the hallmark of the Terrell Tebbetts legacy. The anteroom will hold the Tebbetts Special Collection, containing Dr. Tebbetts life collection of books and preserving them for future generations of students. This is an opportunity to help fund a masterpiece of a room, for a master of the professorate.
