Since the beginning, our goal at TruTravels was always to give back more than we take. Our mission is to provide life-changing experiences that truly benefit all, especially to the communities we visit. And while this has stood us in good stead for 10 years, it is no longer enough.

It's clear that with the ongoing climate crisis and the ever growing issues of inequality in the world, we can do more, and we must do more!

That’s why in 2022 we decided to double down on our efforts of doing good and really put our money where our mouth is, putting equal emphasis on both People and the Planet. Hence the cool fancy name: People & Planet Promise.

We have set ourselves 3 ambitious goals which are fully aligned with our vision of uniting people from all walks of life around a shared mission: making the world a better place. Our focus is on narrowing the global inequality gap and contributing to the fight against the ongoing climate crisis.

We've partnered with Planeterra to help us achieve 2 of these goals: 

1) To positively impact 250,000 lives.
2) To generate £1.25 million for People & Planet initiatives. 

Here at Tru, we are committed to donating £1 million between 2022 and 2030. We have then set ourselves a target to raise £250,000 through various fundraising initiatives. 

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us have a Tru Impact on the people and places that mean the most to us.
