As we look back on the last ten years, we are in awe of all that we were able to accomplish together. Never in a million years did we imagine an idea from a college class project would turn into a globally-recognized nonprofit impacting thousands of individuals around the globe each year. Empowerment Plan would not be where it is today without our amazing community of donors, coat distributors, and program partners.
While we have come so far since 2012, our team is just getting started. With your support, let's continue to break the generational cycle of homelessness that has impacted far too many for far too long.

Hello! My name is Samira Hector. I love everything that you guys do here at Empowerment Plan. I mostly followed your social media sites to keep up with everything that you do for the poverty community. I know what it’s like first hand to experience homelessness, the pain and stress of being in shelters and transitional housing. I know how hard it is to find the right resources for certain circumstances. That is why I would love to work here and be apart of the mission to help those in need.
