For 15 years, Getting Out and Staying Out has been a pillar of support for justice-involved young men in New York City. Participants know that they can count on GOSO to be an accepting, safe space to thrive as they reenter their communities and build productive lives.

Send Books Upstate $10
Ensure that we can send educational, edifying, and inspiring books, to motivate GOSO participants currently incarcerated to continue moving forward in their lives.
One-Week's Transportation $30
Ensure that our participants can get to work, job interviews, classes, and other important appointments.
Professional Attire $50
Whether it's an office or a construction site, GOSO participants need clothing and gear to meet the expectations and requirements of the job. Help us provide work attire for one participant.
Haircuts $100
A fresh haircut gives GOSO participants the confidence they need to make a professional first impression at interviews and on the job. For $100, you can help 10 GOSO participants!
School Textbooks $200
Textbooks are a college essential, and a significant expense. Donate and help a college-enrolled GOSO participant with textbooks for a full semester.
