ABOUT THE EVENT
Dancing for Safe Haven is a fun-filled evening featuring dinner and a lively dance competition among Nashville “celebrities” that has sold out for the past nine years. Star dancers are paired with professional instructors from Nashville Ballroom & Company to compete for fundraising favorite, audience favorite, and judges’ favorite. Each pair performs for a panel of three judges and an audience of 450 guests followed by an open dance floor with a DJ.
As guests enjoy a wonderful evening of dancing, dinner, and celebrity to benefit Safe Haven, we will be rising to the challenge of addressing family homelessness in our community. Nearly 40 percent of the nation’s homeless population is comprised of families with children, and Safe Haven is the only shelter-to-housing program in Middle Tennessee that accommodates families experiencing homelessness.
