Born of the movement for reparations for police torture survivors, the Chicago Torture Justice Center is the first and currently only community center for politicized healing dedicated to those impacted by domestic torture in the U.S. As we look to reconnect to ourselves and what we care about in a year that has felt so beyond our control, we are proud to invite you to join our 2020 Love-a-thon for Justice.

With this year's Love-a-thon, we welcome you into the future we envision through 6 weeks of shared liberatory practice. Register using the link above and you'll begin receiving our weekly calendars with reflections and actions around themes of safety, strength, vision, release, abundance, and satisfaction on Monday, November 9. There is no need to make a donation to participate, but you will have the option to do so when you sign up.

Make a one-time or recurring donation

Contributions of all kinds—large gifts, small gifts, presence at events, donated skills and time, community collections, sustaining gifts—made trauma-informed support available to more than 200 people impacted by police violence last year alone. It is in this spirit that we unapologetically pursue radical resourcing for our work and reject the scarcity narrative that tells us we will never have enough. The Center has operated remotely since March of 2020 and the coming year will bring the added challenge of finding new physical space where we can gather with room to safely distance. To help meet that need, we've set a goal to grow our generous community of monthly sustainers at any level through this year's Love-a-thon.
