Imagine a world without pancreatic cancer. At Sky Foundation, we believe it is possible, and we work every day toward this goal. Sky Foundation provides hope and knowledge to people facing the challenges of a disease they never anticipated. Knowing that early detection is critical to positive outcomes, Sky Foundation raises funds to increase awareness about the symptoms of pancreatic cancer, and to fund research for early detection, prevention, or treatment.
Sky will host its largest fundraiser of the year on November 9th, during Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
This year’s event will be emceed by Guy Gordon and held at the incomparable Henry Ford Museum. Sky Foundation will have the following activities throughout the evening:

Sheila Sky Kasselman founded Sky Foundation in 2008 after her pancreatic cancer diagnosis. After 15 years of being an inspiration and beacon of hope to many, Sheila passed away on Februrary 25, 2023.
Sheila not only impacted the medical community, she had a strong impact in the local art community. She was one of the founders of Birmingham Art in the Park and personally supported and invested in the arts. Since her passing, her artwork collection has been donated to prominent Michigan communities such as Henry Ford Health and college campuses.
