About the Tournament

Venue:
Kingsmill Resort is located at 1010 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185
Shotgun Start:
Carts depart the clubhouse for a shotgun start at 8:30 am on either course. Course preference will be given to top sponsors only. Course assignments are based on a lottery drawing.
Format:
Captain's Choice
Scoring + Awards:
- Post Flighted Scoring.
- 1st and 2nd on each course for each flight
- Awards will be given to the most pinked-out team
- Winners will be announced at ~2:30 pm (may adjust based on final scorecards)
- All winners will be posted at hereforthegirls.org/golf
- If you are not present at the time of the awards, you can pick up your awards through the end of April at the H4TG office located at 1309 Jamestown Rd., Suite 204, Williamsburg, VA 23185

What is the golfing format?
This is a Captain's Choice format. We use senior and ladies tee boxes where appropriate. Registration opens at 7:00 am with a shotgun start at 8:30 am. Course assignments are based on a lottery system with the exception of our top sponsors.
What if it rains?
The course will not close the tournament unless there is thunder or lightning present. We will make that call the day of the tournament and if cancelled, passes to play on another day may be issued to each player on site. A little rain never hurt anybody, and cancer doesn't come with a raincoat!
What's the attire?
Pink of course! Normal golf attire is required. No jeans, tshirts, or open toed shoes please!
What is the impact of funds raised?
Hearing the words ‘you have breast cancer’ sweeps you into a whirlwind of emotions. Many think that a breast cancer journey ends after treatment, but for many, it’s just the beginning. It starts with a single decision to commit to the difficult road ahead. Join us in walking with them side-by-side, and help make the bad days our young breast cancer survivors face much more manageable! This year’s tournament is dedicated to those living with a with a stage IV incurable metastatic diagnosis.
Do you need volunteers?
Yes we do! We have opportunities to volunteer throughout the day and you can choose the time and volunteer position that works best for you! You can either sign up through the volunteer section of our tournament website or email us at golf@hereforthegirls.org for more info.
Not a golfer, but want to support the event?
If you can't participate with us or your not a golfer, you can donate to the event with a donation of any amount. Or you can sponsor and get you or your business recognized. There's also many options to volunteer on the day-of the tournament!
Is this donation tax deductible?
Here For The Girls, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
What is the scoring format and awards?
Post Flighted Scoring. Scorecards will be collected on #18 to be eligible. 1st and 2nd on all three courses for each flight. Awards will be given to the highest fundraising team along with the most pinked out team. Winners will be announced during the luncheon (may adjust based on final scorecards). All winners will be posted at hereforthegirls.org/golf. If you are not present at the time of the awards you can pick at H4TG through the end of April.
How will you assign courses?
Course preference will be given to top sponsors only. Course assignments will be completed by a lottery system and done by Kingsmill.
