Let's Celebrate Donation Together!
The Blue & Green Walk/5K is a family friendly community event to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation, remember those who gave through donation — and support the life-saving mission of New England Donor Services.
The day is also a time to share the Donate Life message and give hope to the 6,500 patients currently waiting for a transplant across New England.
Create or join a team and help us raise $120,000 to support the mission of New England Donor Services and the effort to save and heal lives through donation. Through more education and outreach, more people will join the Donor Registry and help others in need.
We are looking forward to gathering once again for the Blue & Green Walk/5K...and can't wait for this special celebration of life with the donation community. The event will feature a 5K walk/run course, Memorial Butterfly Path, Wall of Hope, Circle of Life Garden, Team Tents, refreshments and more.
Let's get you started! Create your team today, make a team shirt and share your fundraising page with family and friends!
We're raising funds to register more donors.
You can help by making a contribution or joining us on event day. Help us help the 100,000+ patients, including 6,500 New Englanders, in need of a life-saving transplant.
FAQs
What are some ways that I can honor or remember a loved one at the Blue & Green Walk this year?
New England Donor Services is committed to presenting this event to honor, remember and celebrate with our community. There are many ways to participate this year. We invite you to dedicate a butterfly or sign for the Circle of Life garden through the "Register" button on this site. At the event, you can make a dedication on the Wall of Hope, share your team's story, set up a team tent and create a button. More information will be sent to registered participants, so register today.
Do I have to raise a certain amount of money to participate?
There is no fundraising minimum required to participate! We do encourage all of our participants to try fundraising, if they'd like to. Every dollar raised helps to support the mission to save and heal lives. Fundraised dollars also help us reach more people with the message about the importance of joining the Donor Registry. New England Donor Services uses all funds raised by our teams and participants to expand public outreach about donation.
I'm not very good at raising money, can you help me?
Yes!!! We have a fundraising tool kit available...and will be sharing highlights from it with our registered participants throughout the campaign. Also be on the lookout for great fundraising incentives...we've got Donate Life gear that will help you share the message of donation. If you have any questions along the way, please email us at bluegreenwalk@neds.org.
I registered, how do I get my t-shirt?
We will have your shirts ready for pick up by team at the Registration Tent on event day. Virtual participants will receive their shirts in the mail after the event.
