About the Event

Join Heartland Conservation Alliance in 2025 for our Woodland Restoration Events at the stunning Heartland Overlook Preserve!  Led by our expert Conservation Land Steward and Missouri Master Naturalist, Christian Holderby, you'll learn about HCA and our mission, the beautiful Blue River, woodland ecology, plant identification, and invasive species removal. Then, get hands-on and help us restore this vital 40-acre Oak-hickory woodland overlooking the Blue River! We can't wait to see you there!

This work is made possible by a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, with support from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.

  • Bring plenty of water!
