About the 2024 Back-to-School Gala
Join the San Francisco Education Fund to celebrate our collective role in providing an equitable, excellent education for all San Francisco public school students.
The Ed Fund provides nearly $6M in resources to schools and students across San Francisco annually including direct financial support, high-impact tutoring, and community enrichment through our robust volunteer program.

Home to the San Francisco Education Fund's 2023 Gala, the Hibernia is considered one of the city's architectural treasures. The Hibernia building was built in 1892 by the Hibernia Savings and Loan Society, a bank founded by a group of Irish businessmen. The Hibernia, named after the classical Latin name for Ireland, was considered by architect Albert Pissis' contemporaries one of the finest buildings in San Francisco and is one of the few downtown structures to survive the 1906 earthquake and fire.
