Band of Brothers
Event
About the Event
On Sunday, May 18th, 2025, The ‘Boston’s Wounded Vet Run’ will be conducting its 14th Annual motorcycle rally dedicated to local injured veterans. The event, also known as the“wounded vet ride” has raised approximately 2 Million dollars within the last fourteen years for nearly every severely wounded veteran living in New England; who served in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This year, the wounded vet ride will be honoring Sgt Adam Hartswick, US Army, doubleamputee, Cpl Kelsee Lainhart, U.S Marine, who was tragically paralyzed during the evacuation of Kabul, Afghanistan, and Sgt David Traylor. All proceeds benefit these veterans directly.
Now that the wars have ended, our organization must keep its supporters intrigued. This year, on May 17th, 2025, the night before the motorcycle rally, our organization will be hosting some 15 WWII veterans for a conference. Our goal is also to include actors from the famous tv show “Band of Brothers” for a special Q & A about the show, and the veterans they represented.
The event is being hosted at the Boston Harbor Encore Casino Saturday, May 17th , tentatively at 3:00 PM.
