Join Dan Pelleg & Marko E. Weigert from wee dance company in this 90 minute community dance workshop.
If you love exploring, honing skills in challenging, less familiar ways, questioning the self-evident and breaking habits, then we’re on a similar wavelength. In our workshop we’ll explore short movement etudes, touch on some contemporary partnering principles, maybe do some short dives into technique and if there’s time, we might even check out how some creative or improvisational elements can blend with choreographic tasks. Battery’s home is a 125-year-old loft building with a stone façade in the Italian fashion. It sits on the Northeast corner of Broadway & White Street, two blocks South of Canal Street. It can be easily recognized by the Nino Mier Gallery that occupies the ground floor of the building and has signage. Our studios are located on the 5th floor (ring buzzer #5).
