Join Urbanity Dance for their annual free hip hop event, Beantown Get Down, on August 19 outside at Boston's City Hall Plaza run by Urbanity's Lead Hip Hop Teacher Ramiro Vaughan "Purpose." 


The day features workshops, a community conversation, a kids area with dance instruction & graffiti, and teen & adult battles (cash prize!) with DJ Take Flyte and judges (Ramiro Vaughan "Purpose", Caleaf, & MegaTron). Come for one activity or stay for the entire day!

â–º 12:30 - 1:15:  Family Grooves & Party Moves Workshop (All Ages)  

â–º 1 - 4: Kids area open with dance instruction, graffiti workshop led by artist Tori Valle
â–º 1:15 - 2:15: Community Conversation: "Unity Now" led by Ramiro Vaughan "Purpose"
â–º 2:30 - 3:15: Battle Technique Workshop (Teen/Adult) with MegaTron
â–º 3:30 - 4: Registration for the Teen or Adult Battles
â–º 4 - 6: Teen Battle ($150 Award)
â–º 6 - 6:30: Teen Awards
â–º 6:30 - 10: Adult Battle ($500 Award) and Judge Performances
