The Blue River Discovery Days festival is a free family-friendly one-day event that highlights and appreciates the Blue River by offering educational and interactive nature-based activities, including but not limited to guided hikes, kayaking, river-side yoga, macroinvertebrate sampling, and more! 

This year's festival will be held on October 12th from 9am to 3pm at Minor Park near the tennis courts and Blue River Parkway Trailhead. You are welcome to come for the entire day or for whatever time suits your schedule. Most guided activities will start on the hour but there will be other activities that are continuous throughout the day. Please bring your own water bottle!

Parking: Park in the circle parking lot near the Minor Park tennis courts (11477 Blue River Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137).
