Clawson Cool Schools Polar Plunge

Here's what to expect:

Plunge Timeline:

  • Check-In: 1pm
  • Plunge Time: 1:30pm 


Plunger Packing List:

  • Costume (encouraged)
  • Bag for Wet Clothes
  • Towel + Dry Clothes
  • Shoes that can get wet
  • Additional cash/check donations (checks written to: SOMI)


Plunger Process:

  • All plungers will come to the plunge kick-off in their costume, where we will HYPE you up to take the plunge, and parade to the Plungester.
  • You will walk-up stairs to the plungester and jump into approx. 4ft of freezing-cold water.  You MAY plunge with one other person.
  • No face coverings may be worn during the plunge.
  • After the plunge, you'll change into dry clothes - we'll have a spot for you to leave your towel + dry clothing.
