Evening in the End Zone, a “Night of Spectacles”, is an annual event honoring the legacy of great athletes, coaches, vision professionals and community leaders who have made a difference with their generosity and spirit of giving back to those less fortunate in our community.
This year we are presenting the following awards:
Dr. Jeanne Perrine, Optometrist
Lighthouse Beacon of Hope Award recipient
(The Lighthouse Beacon of HOPE Award honors a medical professional who provides an outstanding commitment to vision healthcare for the uninsured)
Kevin Butler
Gary Stokan Hero of the Gridiron Award recipient
(The Gary Stokan Hero of the Gridiron Award is to honor a current or former NCAA collegiate football player, coach, or administrator who exemplifies the spirit of teamwork and comradery through outstanding participation in or leadership of community service, philanthropic efforts outside the required hours)

Presenting Sponsor - $100,000
Provides 50 Tele-Optometry/Mobile Clinics to serve Georgians in need.
MVP Sponsor - $50,000
Provides 25 Tele-Optometry Clinic visits to residents of Georgia.
Quarterback - $25,000
Provides for 200+ Eye Exams to residents of Georgia.
Running Back - $10,000
Provides 10 Vision Surgery Procedures for residents of Georgia.
Wide Receiver - $5,000
Provides a 2-day Mobile Vision Clinic to a rural area of Georgia.
Linebacker - $2,500
Annually Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. supports over 300 patients throughout the state with sight-saving surgeries. While costs fluctuate based
on need the average cost of cataract surgery is about $2,500.
Cornerback - $1,000
Provides free vision screenings to 500+ students in one elementary school
The College Football Hall of Fame was established in 1951 to immortalize the greatest players and coaches as positive role models for future generations.
